Cam-Dex, RFI and The Protection Bureau Awarded GSA Schedule 84 Contract
Will Allow Security Integrators to Provide Federal Agencies with Goods and Services at Pre-Negotiated Prices
San Jose, Calif. – October 26, 2009 – Leading independent security system integrators Cam-Dex Corporation, RFI Communications & Security Systems and The Protection Bureau today announced that the U.S. General Services Administration has awarded them a GSA Schedule 84 contract to directly sell total solutions for law enforcement, security, facilities management, fire, rescue, clothing, marine craft and emergency/disaster to U.S. government agencies.
The contract (#GS-07F-0489V) allows federal agencies a fast, easy way to purchase a range of listed security system integration, design services, security management and support services from the three partners at competitive, pre-negotiated prices. The prices will also be available to state, county and city government agencies.
“This will save agencies – and taxpayers – the cost of having to complete a lengthy competitive bid process, “ said John Krumme, CPP, president of Cam-Dex Corporation in Kansas City, Kan.
The contract represents a major milestone for the three firms, as the federal government is the nation’s single largest customer of law enforcement and security products and services.
